Disability is caused by the way society is organized, rather than by a person’s impairment or difference. It looks at ways of removing barriers that restrict life choices for disabled people. When barriers are removed, disabled people can be independent and equal in society, with choice and control over their own lives.
A transdisciplinary approach encourages a seamless blend of knowledge and skills, fostering a more interconnected model of care. A way of thinking that combines knowledge from different disciplines for teaching and learning.
FBE involves convincing parents to acknowledge their specific vital role of maximizing their special child’s potential, equipping parent with basic essential knowledge and skill and supporting them warmly and closely with love to have a meaningful childhood by children with disabilities.
FBE rekindles family well-being, the value and spirit of family lives, which involves parents and children with disabilities, and enjoying it.
Reaching out the unreached group of children with disabilities as much as possible and to ensure disabled children fulfill their potential, by providing them with high quality therapy, social care, education and vocational training; and to equip families and caregivers with the skills and knowledge.
